April 28, 2012
Dear brothers and sisters in the MMP,
April was hectic with schedule for the Holy Week. In spite of this, I had a few MMP activities.
Holy Week Recollection
I was in Licab, Nueva Ecija, last April 4, Holy Wednesday, for a recollection at the Holy Family Parish. The whole day activity focused on living the baptismal commitments through consecration and the cenacle.
Launching of the First Saturday Devotion
Back in our parish, I launched the first Saturday devotion on Holy Saturday. I was moved by its timely occurrence on the first Saturday. The launching begun at dawn with Soledad procession, depicting depicting the solitude of our Sorrowful Mother, in joyful hope for the resurrect-ion. With a brief catechesis, participants pledged to hold dawn procession every First Saturday - in the cenacle form and with the prayer of consecration.
On Easter Thursday, April 12, we held the Cenacle of Priests. Although that week was the vacation time for priests, we were surprised by Our Lady’s perfect gift - the gathering of ten priests. Ave Maria!
God bless you all.
Yours in the Immaculate Heart,
